American Dream Relocation Cancellation Policy

Welcome to American Dream Relocation. We value your trust and aim to provide a seamless, transparent moving experience. Please carefully review the following terms regarding our broker fee, payment methods, and updated cancellation/refund policy.

Broker Fee

The broker fee compensates American Dream Relocation for arranging services with a fully licensed and insured motor carrier. This fee covers our coordination expertise and is separate from the carrier’s transportation charges.

Carrier Charges and Payment Methods

Carrier fees are paid to the independent motor carrier in two installments:

  1. Pickup Payment (First Installment) – May be made C.O.D., or by credit card only if prior authorization is granted.

  2. Delivery Payment (Second Installment) – Must be paid in cash or certified postal money order upon delivery.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

SHOULD YOU ELECT TO CANCEL, WRITTEN NOTIFICATION MUST BE SENT TO INFO@AMERICANDREAMRELOCATION.US NO LATER THAN 24 HOURS AFTER ELECTRONICALLY SIGNING THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE. CANCELLATION REQUESTS RECEIVED WITHIN 72 HOURS AFTER THE BILL OF LADING IS ISSUED BY THE MOTOR CARRIER WILL RECEIVE A FULL REFUND. CANCELLATION REQUESTS RECEIVED AFTER THE 24-HOUR GRACE PERIOD FROM SIGNING THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE; HOWEVER, THE DEPOSIT MAY BE APPLIED TOWARD A FUTURE MOVE WITH AMERICAN DREAM RELOCATION LLC WITHIN 24 MONTHS (2 YEARS) OF THE ORIGINAL SIGNED AGREEMENT. THE 24-HOUR POLICY DOES NOT APPLY TO ANY MOVE SCHEDULED FOR PICKUP WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF BOOKING.

Additional Terms

Once physical moving services begin (packing, loading, storage, or transport), cancellations are no longer possible and all deposits are nonrefundable, in line with U.S. Code 49 CFR § 375.505(h). If your items have been loaded onto the truck, cancellation is not possible and no refunds will be issued.

Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your move, please reach out as soon as possible. Rescheduling depends on carrier availability and may result in additional fees, but we will work with you to accommodate changes.
